TokyoMono.net is a free online classifieds platform for English speakers living in Japan.

 

Its purpose is to facilitate daily life such as selling/finding various things or services. It can be difficult when you don't speak/read Japanese in Japan to find used items or sell your own. As well as finding services in English (courses, babysitting, home care, etc.), or a way to reuse and recycle. Or even just to spend less money.

TokyoMono.net aims to be a platform to easily connect expats to make great finds for their life in Japan.

 

How it works ?

It is a free platform based on geolocation via google maps. No money transaction from seller to buyer via website. It's like a free ad board. You must contact the seller yourself to close the deal with him.

 

How to publish an ad ?

First create an account: "My account" / "Register/individual". Fill out the form with the most important fields: username + your city + email & password combo. The telephone field is there only if you want to be contacted more quickly, it will be displayed on your profile. Then click "Register" after reading our policies and terms of use. After choosing your item or category/service and a title for your ad, summarize a short description to allow other users to know more about your item/service: status, more precise geographical area or other details. Then choose the city where your item/service is located and click on "Publish my ad" (remember to accept our terms of use and our policies). Then add photos of your items/services in landscape orientation. You can add a maximum of 3 photos. The next step will offer you the choice to pay an option to upgrade your ad "proceed to payment" OR "skip this step", to post your ad for free.
